Your new bloggers!
After a nice wake up call at 5:15 a.m., the gang parted from Schreiner University and made our way to New Mexico. The first accomplishment on the bus was a nice and long nap, then breakfast was served, bagels and cream cheese. In our opinion, it was the best meal we have had in the past three days. The road trip continued with miles and miles of flat and empty land, the only town we saw was Pecos, Texas. One of our 908275248 bathroom stops consisted of Cinnabons, which was a very nice mid morning snack. After a while longer in the bus, lunch was served, a little bread with some ham and cheese, yummmmmy!

We finally arrived at the Cavern, making our way down in groups of about 10. Stalagmites surrounded us with bats and birds on our sides. We walked underground and got to smell the fresh scent of bat poop, which we recommend you try for yourself. Did you know bat poop is in mascara!? Gross.

Then, most of us got some really cool stickers and postcards. After some group photos, we departed for Roswell, NM, where we encountered many aliens. There were aliens in furniture stores, motels, and even on the street lights. We hit a Walmart in Roswell, where our lovely cooks bought some hotdogs, green beans, baked beans, mac and cheese, and watermelon for dinner. Upon arriving at the New Mexico Military Institute, a lieutenant colonel greeted us and told us a little about the institute. As it turns out, military institutes are not actually for delinquents, so your threats of sending us off to military school will no longer work on us! Tonight, we will sleep on a field and look for spaceships. Keep us in your prayers as we battle these intergalactic creatures!
